North Brabant is known for its industrialised farming, counting more farm animals than human beings. Industrialised farming contributes to climate change, decreases biodiversity, and pollutes our water and soil. The recipe booklet encourages citizens of the Van Gogh National Park to become catalysts of change by shifting towards a more sustainable food consumption. It also suggests what an alternative food production could look like by exploring three examples of local farm stores with a sustainable food production in Eindhoven, and shares vegan recipes that I developed based on the foods offered by these local farms in Eindhoven. This enables people to taste the Van Gogh National Park at home.
