Living – When a house becomes home

What defines a home in Almada? When Eva walked around in the old center of Almada, she noticed deprecated houses. Some had been abandoned years ago. The inhabitants told her that affordable housing is not accessible to all. She was invited into one of these deserted houses  She found a colorful, lively environment behind the surface of its broken structure which represented the feeling of a home. As a gesture to the stories that were shared and the hospitality she received, Eva visualized her experience into a blanket that carries their collective story.
