Hoodstitch

The streets are full of objects: garbage, bulky waste, construction materials, machines and trash too big to fit into a container. The Netherlands is known to have a straight and clean environment, but some areas don’t really seem to fit that picture. In the Tarwewijk, a neighborhood in Rotterdam-South, this surely doesn’t apply. JB walked around and looked at the objects that are present but ignored at the same time. For many, they’ve got a negative connocation, but JB was attracted to their interesting stories and imperfections. He repaired them with tape only to show their beauty and damage.
